Violence is assumed when sexual intercourse or any other indecent assault is committed on a person who is under twelve years of age, or when the victim is unable to offer resistance owing to a physical or mental disability or for any other cause that is independent of the act of the offender.
ويفترض حدوث العنف عند ارتكاب اتصال جنسي أو غيره من أعمال هتك العرض الأخرى مع شخص دون سن 12سنة، أو عندما لا تتمكن الضحية من المقاومة نتيجة لإعاقة جسدية أو ذهنية أو لأي سبب آخر لا علاقة له بفعل الفاعل.

267. Article 273 prohibits indecent assault attempted or perpetrated with or without violence on the person of a child of either sex aged under 13.

12.6 The State Party reports that several persons have been convicted for the offence of defilement.
