The Chairperson, summing up the discussion, noted that the Committee had agreed to adopt the approach to financial contracts set out in the Assignment Convention, not only to ensure consistency with that Convention and the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide on Insolvency Law but also because the same policy considerations applied in the context of the draft Guide.
