In a note dated 18 May 2006, the Permanent Mission of Iraq to the United Nations informed the Secretariat of the decision of its Government to withdraw the nomination of Eman Hussein Alwan as a candidate for election to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.

An annual vehicle logbook in the name of Aziz Hajji Qadir was found, together with a general driving licence in the name of Hazim Naji Alwan.
