However long we continue to debate the issue, I do not believe that we can match Mr. Kaddoumi's eloquence and accuracy in speaking about the occupied Palestinian territories and the savagery of the Israeli occupation.
ونحن مهما تحدثنا، لن نبلغ صدق وبلاغة السيد فاروق القدومي في وصف الأوضاع في فلسطين المحتلة وبشاعة ممارسات سلطة الاحتلال.

With respect to terrorist groups like Hamas, Kaddoumi stated: " We were never different from Hamas.
وفيما يتعلق بالجماعات الإرهابية مثل حماس، ذكر القدومي: " لم نختلف مطلقا عن حماس.

Mr. Kaddoumi reminded us yesterday that the United Nations has over the years adopted positions on all these issues.
ولقد ذكرنا السيد قدومي باﻷمس بأن اﻷمم المتحدة قد اتخذت عبر السنين مواقف إزاء جميـــع هذه المسائل.

As a matter of fact, the sharp criticism of the United Nations and its partition resolution offered this very day by the head of the Palestinian delegation, Mr. Farouk Kaddoumi, is nothing but the symptomatic expression of the Palestinian refusal to come to terms with true coexistence with Israel.
وفي الحقيقة، فإن النقد الحاد الذي، وجهه رئيس الوفد الفلسطيني السيد فاروق القدومي هذا اليوم للأمم المتحدة ولقرار التقسيم الذي أصدرته، لا يمثل سوى رفض فلسطيني للتعايش الحقيقي مع إسرائيل.

And in his speech before the Assembly on this item last year, the head of the Palestinian delegation, Mr. Farouk Kaddoumi, conveyed the Palestinian commitment to fighting international terrorism.

Mr. Farouk Kaddoumi of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) had briefed the Ministers on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territory, and particularly on Israel's intention to establish a new settlement in East Jerusalem.
وأضاف أن السيد فاروق القدومي رئيس الدائرة السياسية في منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية أحاط الوزراء بآخر التطورات في اﻷرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، ولا سيما اعتزام إسرائيل إنشاء مستعمرة جديدة في القدس الشرقية.

" Palestinian resistance is a legitimate project and as long as there is an occupation the fight will continue " , said Kaddoumi.
وقال القدومي: " إن المقاومة الفلسطينية مشروع شرعي وما دام هناك احتلال سيستمر النضال " .

Mr. Kaddoumi (Palestine) (spoke in Arabic): I should like at the outset to express our sincere thanks to you, Mr. President, for your wise and skilful stewardship of the General Assembly during this session.
السيد القدومي (فلسطين): السيد الرئيس، أود بداية، أن أوجه الشكر الخالص إليكم على إدارتكم بحكمة ودراية أعمال هذه الدورة.

The Chairman (spoke in French): I would like once again, on behalf of the Committee, to convey to Mr. Kaddoumi our support and solidarity with the Palestinian people.

وأفضل وسيلة لوفاء السيد قدومي بالتزامه في العام الماضي، وشواغله اليوم أيضاً، هو أن يتصدى، أولاً وقبل كل شيء، لآفة الإرهاب الفلسطيني وممارسته الشريرة المتمثلة بعمليات التفجير الانتحارية.
