5. To call upon the international Quartet to shoulder its responsibilities in working to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region on the basis of the Arab Peace Initiative and the Road Map and to confirm that any measure by any party must be within the context of the implementation of both;
دعوة اللجنة الرباعية الدولية إلى النهوض بمسؤولياتها في العمل على تحقيق السلام العادل والشامل في المنطقة على أساس مبادرة السلام العربية وخطة خارطة الطريق،والتأكيد على أن أي إجراء من أي طرف يجب أن يكون في سياق العمل على تنفيذهما.

With regard to the peace process, the Arab leaders affirmed their commitment to a peaceful settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict on the basis of the principles agreed upon, stated that they would continue the endeavour to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and stressed that this position represented a goal and a strategic choice on their part.

At any rate, it is important to achieve a just and comprehensive peace benefiting all countries of the region, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council.
وعلى أية حال، من اﻷهمية بمكان تحقيق سلام عادل وشامل تستفيد منه جميع بلدان المنطقة، وفقا لقرارات مجلس اﻷمن ذات الصلة.
