(a) In the first preambular paragraph, the phrase " and emphasizing their obligations under the human rights instruments, in particular the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Optional Protocol thereto " was replaced by the phrase " and guided by the purposes and principles of human rights instruments " ;
(أ) في الفقرة الأولى من الديباجة، استعيض عن عبارة " وإذ تؤكد التزاماتها بموجب صكوك حقوق الإنسان، ولا سيما اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة وبروتوكولها الاختياري " ، بعبارة " وإذ تسترشد بمقاصد وأهداف صكوك حقوق الإنسان " ؛

Reaffirming the obligations of all States to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms as stated in the Charter of the United Nations, and emphasizing also their obligations under the human rights instruments, in particular the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Optional Protocol thereto,
إذ تؤكد من جديد التزامات جميع الدول بتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية المنصوص عليها في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وإذ تؤكد أيضا التزاماتها بموجب صكوك حقوق الإنسان، ولا سيما اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة() وبروتوكولها الاختياري()،

5. The Commission reaffirms the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Optional Protocol thereto and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and takes note of the work of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women towards the practical realization of the principle of equality between women and men and between girls and boys.
