12 - وأعربوا عن أسفهم لعدم تنفيذ الاتفاق على عقد مؤتمر دولي لإنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الأوسط في عام 2012.

(a) The Secretary-General of the United Nations and the three co-sponsors of the 1995 resolution, in consultation with the States of the region, would convene a conference in 2012 on the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction (the postponed 2012 conference);
(أ) أن يُطلب إلى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة والدول الثلاث الراعية لقرار 1995، عقد مؤتمر خلال 2012 حول إنشاء المنطقة الخالية من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الأوسط (مؤتمر 2012 المؤجل).

The Group accordingly emphasizes the importance of and calls for submitting required reports by all States parties to the Treaty, in particular the co-sponsors of the 1995 Resolution, as well as the facilitator of the 2012 Conference on the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction, to the current and upcoming meetings of the Preparatory Committee and the 2015 Review Conference.

كما أنها تُعرب عن الأسف لعدم انعقاد مؤتمر لإنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وسائر أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الأوسط، وعن أملها في أن تعمل كل الأطراف المعنية على عقد مؤتمر من هذا القبيل.

All States should redouble their efforts to ensure that a conference was convened on the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction at the earliest possible date, involving all the States of the region.
وطالبت جميع الدول بمضاعفة جهودها لضمان عقد مؤتمر لإنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وسائر أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الأوسط في أقرب وقت ممكن، تشترك فيه جميع دول المنطقة.
