The Committee is further concerned that the process of inter-country adoption is not in full conformity with the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Inter-country Adoption.

In the field of national and inter-country adoption, the Committee encourages the State party to undertake comprehensive legal reform to ensure full compatibility with the principles and provisions of the Convention, as well as to consider ratifying the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Inter-country Adoption.
وفي ميدان التبني داخل الحدود الوطنية وخارجها، تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على القيام بإصلاح قانوني شامل لتأمين التوافق الكامل مع مبادئ وأحكام الاتفاقية، وكذلك التفكير في المصادقة على اتفاقية لاهاي لعام ٣٩٩١ بشأن حماية اﻷطفال والتعاون فيما يتعلق بالتبني في بلد آخر.

Furthermore, the Committee recommends that the State party ratify the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Inter-country Adoption in order to avoid the sale of children through illegal adoptions.

42- تلاحظ اللجنة بقلق أنّ الإطار المعياري الحالي غير كاف لضمان حقوق الأطفال ومصالحهم الفضلى في حالات التبني بين البلدان عندما يأتي الأطفال من بلدان لم تصدّق على اتفاقية لاهاي بشأن حماية الأطفال والتعاون في مجال التبني على الصعيد الدولي لعام 1993.

(e) The State party remaining a non-State party to the 1993 Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Inter-country Adoption.
