" In light of the above, the Security Council acknowledges the need for a comprehensive report of the Secretary-General on United Nations approaches to security sector reform, to foster its implementation in post-conflict environments, and expresses its readiness to consider such a report within the scope of its prerogatives under the UN Charter.

Urges all Member States to support the peace process in Angola through full and immediate implementation of the measures against UNITA contained in resolutions 864 (1993), 1127 (1997) and 1173 (1998), and expresses its readiness to consider appropriate reinforcing steps in accordance with the recommendations contained in the report referred to in paragraph 13 below;
٩ - يحـث جميع الدول اﻷعضاء على دعم عملية السلام في أنغولا عن طريق التنفيذ الكامل والفوري للتدابير المتخذة ضد يونيتا الواردة في القرارات ٤٦٨ )٣٩٩١(، و ٧٢١١ )٧٩٩١( ، و ٣٧١١ )٨٩٩١(، ويعرب عن استعداده للنظر في اتخاذ خطوات داعمة مناسبة وفقا للتوصيات الواردة في التقرير المشار إليه في الفقرة ٣١ أدناه؛

Urges all Member States to support the peace process in Angola through full and immediate implementation of the measures against the União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola contained in resolutions 864 (1993), 1127 (1997) and 1173 (1998), and expresses its readiness to consider appropriate reinforcing steps in accordance with the recommendations contained in the report referred to in paragraph 13 below;
٩ - يحـث جميع الدول اﻷعضاء على دعم عملية السلام في أنغولا عن طريق التنفيذ الكامل والفوري للتدابير المتخذة ضد الاتحاد الوطني للاستقلال التام ﻷنغــولا الواردة في القرارات ٤٦٨ )٣٩٩١(، و ٧٢١١ )٧٩٩١( ، و ٣٧١١ )٨٩٩١(، ويعرب عن استعداده للنظر في اتخاذ خطوات داعمة مناسبة وفقا للتوصيات الواردة في التقرير المشار إليه في الفقرة ٣١ أدناه؛
