(j) That the Government of Iraq should immediately abrogate all laws penalizing the free expression of competing views and ideas and should take all necessary steps to ensure that the genuine will of the people is the basis of authority in the State;

(f) The Government of Sierra Leone should devote special effort to consolidating its control over the diamond-mining areas by ensuring that police and other civil servants are fully deployed there; and should take all the necessary measures to enforce fully the certification and licensing regime and to enable Sierra Leone to participate fully in the Kimberley Process.

The State party should combat all forms of forced labour and should take all necessary measures to ensure that children do not work in hazardous labour conditions, including artisanal (informal) mines, and ensure also that adults who work in such facilities have improved conditions in accordance with international standards and in particular with the International Labour Organization conventions ratified by the State party.
يتعين على الدولة الطرف أن تكافح جميع أشكال العمل الإجباري وأن تتخذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان عدم عمل الأطفال في ظروف خطرة، بما في ذلك في المناجم الحرفية (غير الرسمية)، وضمان تحسين ظروف عمل البالغين الذين يعملون في هذه المرافق، أيضاً وفقاً للمعايير الدولية وبصفة خاصة وفقاً لاتفاقيات منظمة العمل الدولية التي صدقت عليها الدولة الطرف.

The State party should review its legislation on libel and insult and should take all necessary steps to ensure that any restrictions on the exercise of freedom of expression fully comply with the strict requirements of article 19, paragraph 3, of the Covenant as further set out in the Committee's general comment No. 34 (2011) on freedoms of opinion and expression.
وينبغي للدولة الطرف أن تراجع قانونها المتعلق بالشتم والقذف وأن تتخذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان امتثال أية قيود تُفرض على ممارسة حرية التعبير، امتثالاً كاملاً، للشروط الدقيقة المنصوص عليها في الفقرة 3 من المادة 19 من العهد كما هو موضّح أيضاً في التعليق العام للجنة رقم 34(2011) بشأن حرية الرأي والتعبير.
