We are dealing here with issues that go to the core of human rights as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the treaties of the European Union.

Today more than half the world is covered by a network of nuclear-weapon-free zones, both operating and emerging, as a result of the Antarctic Treaty, and the treaties of Rarotonga, Bangkok, Tlatelolco and Pelindaba.
وتوجد اليوم شبكة من المناطق الخالية من اﻷسلحة النووية تغطي أكثر من نصف سكان العالم، بعضها يعمل وبعضها ناشئ، وذلك نتيجة لمعاهدة أنتاركتيكا ومعاهدات راروتونغا وبانكوك وتلاتيلولكو وبليندابا.

To date, nuclear-weapon-free zones cover more than half the world, thanks to the Antarctic Treaty and the treaties of Rarotonga, Bangkok, Tlatelolco and Pelindaba.
وقد أصبحت المناطق الخالية من اﻷسلحــة النوويــة تغطــي حتى اﻵن أكثـر من نصف مساحة العالــم وذلــك بفضــل معاهدة أنتاركتيكا ومعاهدات راروتونغا وبانكوك وتلاتيلولكو وبليندابا.

We note also the emergence of important initiatives similar to those that resulted in the establishment, by the Antarctic Treaty and the treaties of Tlatelolco, Rarotonga, Pelindaba and Bangkok, of nuclear-weapon-free zones.
ونلاحظ أيضا ظهور مبادرات هامة تماثل المبادرات التي أدت إلى إنشاء مناطق خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية بموجب معاهــدة أنتاركتيكــا ومعاهدات تلاتيلولكو وراروتونغا وبليندابا وبانكوك.

6. China continues to support the Antarctic Treaty and the treaties of Tlateloco, Rarotonga and Pelindaba and is complying with its obligations under those treaties.
6- وتواصل الصين تأييدها لمعاهدة أنتاركتيكا ومعاهدات تلاتيلولكو وراروتونغا وبليندابا وهي تفي بالتزاماتها ذات الصلة بهذه المعاهدات.

Some delegations expressed the view that the geostationary orbit was an integral part of outer space and that its use was governed by the provisions of the Outer Space Treaty and the treaties of ITU.
91- وأبدت بعض الوفود رأيا مفاده أن المدار الثابت بالنسبة إلى الأرض هو جزء لا يتجزأ من الفضاء الخارجي، وأن استخدامه تنظمه أحكام معاهدة الفضاء الخارجي ومعاهدات الآيتيو.

١ - تسلم مع الارتياح بأن معاهدة انتاركتيكا ومعاهدات تلاتيلولكو، وراروتونغا، وبانكوك، وبيليندابا، تحقق تدريجيا إخلاء نصف الكرة الجنوبي بأسره والمناطق المتاخمة له المشمولة بتلك المعاهدات من اﻷسلحة النووية؛

- It signed the African Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone Treaty (Pelindaba Treaty) and in that regard welcomes the fact that the Antarctic Treaty and the treaties of Tlatelolco, Rarotonga and Bangkok, along with the Pelindaba Treaty, are helping to free the Southern Hemisphere and adjacent areas from the presence of nuclear weapons.
