وإذ تحيط علما بقرار مجلس الأمن 984 (1995) المؤرخ 11 نيسان/أبريل 1995 والآراء المعرب عنها بشأنه،

2. Recalls the reports of the Group of Governmental Experts on the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms, which convened in 1994 and 1997 to consider the continuing operation of the Register and its further development, and the views expressed and proposals presented therein;
٢ - تشير إلى تقارير فريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بسجل اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷسلحة التقليدية الذي اجتمع في عامي ١٩٩٤ و ١٩٩٧ للنظر في مواصلة تشغيل السجل وزيادة تطويره، واﻵراء المعرب عنها في هذه التقارير والاقتراحات المقدمة فيها؛
