وأدان المجلس في القرار تلك التحركات العسكرية، وطالب العراق بسحب قواته وعدم تكرار ما حدث، وأكد مجلس اﻷمن من جديد على التزامه بسيادة الكويت وسلامتها اﻹقليمية وحرمة حدودها.
