3- إذا شمل طلب التسليم عدة جرائم منفصلة يكون جرم واحد منها على الأقل خاضعا للتسليم بمقتضى هذه المادة ويكون بعضها غير خاضع للتسليم بسبب مدة الحبس المفروضة عليها ولكن لها صلة بأفعال مجرّمة وفقا لهذه الاتفاقية، جاز للدولة الطرف متلقية الطلب أن تطبق هذه المادة أيضا فيما يخص تلك الجرائم.

The Government has reserved its right not to apply this article in circumstances where the shortage of suitable facilities makes the mixing of juveniles and adults unavoidable; and further where the interests of other juveniles in an establishment require the removal of a particular juvenile offender; or where the mixing is considered to be of benefit to the persons concerned.
وقد احتفظت الحكومة بحقها في عدم تطبيق هذه المادة في الظروف التي يحتّم فيها نقص المرافق المناسبة اختلاط السجناء الشباب بالسجناء البالغين، وحيثما تقتضي مصالح شباب آخرين في مؤسسة ما نقل مجرم شاب معين منها، أو حيثما يعتبر الاختلاط لفائدة اﻷشخاص المعنيين.
