In connection with the effort to rationalize the work of the General Assembly, the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 2 of section B of the annex to resolution 58/126, in which the General Committee is called upon to hold open-ended discussions on the options presented by the Secretary-General before making recommendations to the Assembly.
