The present report outlines the efforts undertaken by the Secretariat in 2002 to reduce the backlog in the publication of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs and the Repertoire of the Practice of the Security Council.

His delegation appreciated the efforts of the Secretary-General to reduce the backlog in the publication of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs and the Repertoire of the Practice of the Security Council, because they were both useful sources of data on the implementation of the Charter.

35. The delegation of Iraq welcomed the actions taken by the Secretary-General to reduce the backlog in the publication of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs and therefore supported the proposal to set up a special trust fund to pay for its publication.
