The traditional perception persists that an educated women must be, first and foremost, a wife and mother while all other social roles take second place and that a woman manager will be worse than a man in the same post, especially in occupational groups peopled primarily by males.
وما زال التصور التقليدي عن المرأة المتعلمة أنها يجب أن تكون، أولا وقبل أي شيء، زوجة وأما، ومن ثم تأتي أدوارها الاجتماعية الأخرى في المرتبة الثانية، بل أن المرأة المديرة هي أسوأ من الرجل في المنصب نفسه، لا سيما في الفئات المهنية التي كان يشغلها الرجال أساسا.
