وفي إطار التعاون أيضا، أود أن أنوه بالاجتماع الذي اشترك في تنظيمه الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي واﻷمانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة وإدارة تنسيــق السياســات والتنمية المستدامة وبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي، فــي إطــار متابعة القمة العالمية للتنمية الاجتماعية.

The task of facilitator taken by the Inter-Parliamentary Union, therefore, cannot be underestimated. It is the link between national parliaments and the General Assembly and thus contributes to making this natural partnership between the two, their mutual exchange of views and of information, even more valuable and effective.
