We appreciate the position of the great number of United Nations Member States in upholding the one-China principle and opposing " Taiwan independence " , " two Chinas " , " one China, one Taiwan " and " Taiwan's participation " in international organizations composed solely of sovereign States.
ونعرب عن تقديرنا لموقف العدد الكبير من الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة لتقيـــدها بمبــــدأ الصين الواحدة ومعارضتها لـ " استقلال تايوان " ، و " دولتين صينيتين " ، أو " صين واحدة وتايوان واحدة " و " مشاركة تـايوان " في منظمات دولية تتـــــألف من دول ذات سيادة فقط.

The aim was to split a sovereign State and create “two Chinas” or “one China, one Taiwan” at the United Nations; that constituted a grave encroachment on China’s sovereignty and brutal interference in its internal affairs.

We wish to see greater determination to combat injustice and more democratic rigour to preserve the universal mission of our Organization, particularly in putting an end to the tensions between the two Chinas and the two Koreas.
ونود أيضا أن نشهد مزيدا من التصميم على التصدي للظلم، ومزيدا من التطبيق الصارم للديمقراطية في الحفاظ على الرسالة العالمية لمنظمتنا، ولا سيما بوضع حد للتوترات بين الصينيين والكوريتين.
