٦٩ - ومراعاة من اللجنة الخاصة لولايتها بشأن الصحراء الغربية ولمسؤوليتها اﻷساسية عن كفالة تنفيذ قــرار الجمعية العامة ١٥١٤ )د - ١٥( فيما يتعلق بجميع اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، ووفقا لمقرر اتخذته في جلستها ١٣٩٧، المعقودة في ٣٢ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩١، قد توفد اللجنة بعثة إلى الصحراء الغربية في أثناء إجراء الاستفتاء في اﻹقليم.
