2-6 ونظراً لعدم الاستجابة لأي من المساعي التي قامت بها الأسرة، وجّهت صاحبة الشكوى، يوم 7 شباط/فبراير 2007، التماساً خطياً إلى مدعي الجمهورية في راس الواد للحصول على نسخة من تقرير التشريح الطبي على جثة منير حموش.

2.7 On 16 January 2007, the complainant reported Mounir Hammouche's death in police custody to the Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
2-7 وفي 16 كانون الثاني/يناير 2007، رفعت صاحبة الشكوى بلاغاً إلى المقرر الخاص المعني بمسألة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة عن وفاة منير حموش في الحبس الاحتياطي.

3.7 The complainant also invokes article 14 of the Convention, noting that, by depriving Mounir Hammouche's family of the opportunity to bring legal action under criminal law, the State party has deprived it of a legal means of obtaining compensation for serious crimes such as torture.
