(d) When a person is arrested for any reason, a person of his choosing shall be notified immediately. The same shall apply when a court order is issued extending his detention. أما الفقرة (د) فتنص على: " عند إلقاء القبض على أي شخص لأي سبب يجب أن يخطر فوراً من يختاره المقبوض عليه كما يجب ذلك عند صدور كل أمر قضائي باستمرار الحجز، فإذا تعذر على المقبوض عليه الاختيار وجب إبلاغ أقاربه أو من يهمه الأمر " .
