In that context, the thematic reports prepared by the Secretariat on the implementation of chapter III of the Convention deserved attention, in particular the challenges, good practices and technical assistance needs identified, which highlighted the importance of further information exchange and sharing of experiences.
وأشار في هذا الصدد إلى أنه يجدر الاهتمام بما أعدَّته الأمانة من تقارير مواضيعية عن تنفيذ الفصل الثالث من الاتفاقية، وخصوصاً ما استُبين فيها من تحدِّيات وممارسات جيدة واحتياجات للمساعدة التقنية، فهي تُبرز أهمية المضي في تبادل المعلومات والتعريف بالتجارب.

Ethiopia is being supported to produce an investigations manual to deepen implementation of chapter III of the Convention, and it is anticipated that this work will develop into a broader gap analysis.
وتحظى إثيوبيا بدعم من أجل إعداد دليل للتحقيقات بغية التعمق في تنفيذ الفصل الثالث من الاتفاقية، ويُتوقع أن يتطور هذا العمل بحيث يصبح تحليلا أوسع نطاقا للثغرات.

In the review of implementation of chapter III of the Convention, it was observed that common challenges regarding the implementation of the provisions on prosecution, adjudication and sanctions concerned specificities in national legal systems and limited capacity.

The Conference of the Parties may wish to consider such aspects in subsequent stages of its work, in particular when dealing with the implementation of chapter III of the Protocol, on prevention, cooperation and other measures, including border measures and measures geared towards ensuring the security and control, as well as the legitimacy and validity, of travel or identity documents used in cases involving smuggling of migrants.
وقد يرغب مؤتمر الأطراف في تناول هذه الجوانب في مراحل لاحقة من عمله، خاصة عند تناول مسألة تنفيذ الفصل الثالث من البروتوكول بشأن المنع والتعاون والتدابير، بما فيها التدابير الحدودية والتدابير الموجهة نحو ضمان أمن ومراقبة وثائق السفر أو الهوية المستخدمة في حالات تهريب المهاجرين، بالإضافة إلى ضمان صحة ومشروعية تلك الوثائق.

Of the 34 States parties included in this report, 20 identified technical assistance needs for the implementation of chapter III of the Convention.
