1. At its forty—third session (August 1991), the Sub—Commission requested the author of this report to undertake a study on the impunity of perpetrators of human rights violations.
١- طلبت اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها الثالثة واﻷربعين )آب/أغسطس ١٩٩١( الى صاحب هذا التقرير أن يضع دراسة عن مسألة إفلات مرتكبي انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان من العقاب.

At the same time, ICHRDD also provided information regarding steps taken to combat impunity for human rights violations, in response to the report by the Special Rapporteur, Mr. Louis Joinet, “Question of the impunity of perpetrators of human rights violations” (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1997/20/Rev.1).

16- وأبدت منظمة أطفال العالم - حقوق الإنسان تأييدها لتعيين خبير مستقل يكلف بدراسة جميع جوانب قضية إفلات منتهكي حقوق الإنسان من العقاب.

27. The Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights expressed its support for the possible appointment of an independent expert entrusted with a mandate to examine all aspects of the issue of impunity of perpetrators of human rights violations.
27- وأعربت مؤسسة مارانغوبولوس لحقوق الإنسان عن تأييدها لتعيين خبير مستقل يعهد إليه بولاية دراسة جميع جوانب قضية إفلات منتهكي حقوق الإنسان من العقاب.

10. Requests the SecretaryGeneral to seek the views of Governments, and intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations on the issue of the possible appointment of an independent expert charged with examining all aspects of the issue of impunity of perpetrators of human rights violations, with a view to a decision on this matter at the fiftyeighth session of the Commission;
10- تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يلتمس آراء الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية بشأن مسألة إمكانية تعيين خبير مستقل يُكلف ببحث جميع جوانب قضية إفلات مرتكبي انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان من العقاب بقصد اتخاذ قرار بهذا الشأن في الدورة الثامنة والخمسين للجنة؛

197. In its resolution 2000/68, the Commission requested the SecretaryGeneral to seek the views of Governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations on the issue of the possible appointment of an independent expert charged with examining all aspects of the issue of impunity of perpetrators of human rights violations, with a view to a decision on this matter at the fiftyseventh session of the Commission.
