إن هذه التهديدات والاستفزازات الصارخة التي تقوم بها إسرائيل، إلى جانب تنفيذها الطائش لعدد هائل من السياسات والممارسات غير القانونية، ولا سيما حملتها الاستيطانية المسعورة في كامل أنحاء الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، هي سبب استمرار تردي الحالة محليا وهي تسهم في تأجيج المشاعر والتوتر بين الجانبين.

In this regard, Israel, the occupying Power, must be called upon by the international community to cease all such illegal, deplorable and provocative actions, which constitute yet further attempts by Israel to erase the Palestinian Arab identity, history and presence in the land and, particularly, in the Holy City of Jerusalem and which risk further inflaming religious sensitivities and destabilizing the very fragile situation on the ground.

We stress that these actions are inflaming an already volatile situation and threaten to further upset the religious sensitivities in the City and ignite another cycle of violence.

وفي هذا الصدد، يلزم إيلاء اهتمام عاجل للعدوان الإسرائيلي المتصاعد وغير المسبوق على القدس الشرقية، لأن هذه الأعمال التي تنفذها السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال والمستوطنون في الأرض الفلسطينية تؤجج التوتر بشكل خطير وتهدد بتفجير الأوضاع على الأرض، التي هي أصلا هشة وغير مستقرة.
