148. Under General Assembly resolution 65/189, " International Widows' Day " is henceforth observed on 23 June each year.
148 - وبذلك، سيجري الاحتفال بالقرار 65/189 المتعلق " باليوم الدولي للأرامل " في المستقبل في إطار اليوم الأول الذي يوافق 23 حزيران/يونيه من كل سنة.

It also continued to consider emerging issues, notably the illegal exploitation of natural resources, the impact of climate change on peace and security in Central Africa and the promotion of International Widows' Day as a vehicle for creating awareness of the plight of widows and their children.
وواصلت اللجنة النظر في المسائل البازغة وأبرزها الاستغلال غير القانوني للموارد الطبيعية وأثر تغير المناخ على السلام والأمن في وسط أفريقيا والترويج لليوم الدولي للأرامل كسبيل للتوعية بمحنة الأرامل وأطفالهن.

27. At its thirty-second meeting, the Committee had decided that upcoming ministerial meetings should include on their agenda the consideration of General Assembly resolution 65/189, adopted on the initiative of Gabon on 2 December 2010 and entitled " International Widows' Day " , on the need to protect widows and their children.
27 - قررت اللجنة في اجتماعها الثاني والثلاثين أن تضمّن جدول أعمال اجتماعاتها الوزارية اللاحقة النظر في قرار الجمعية العامة 65/189، الذي اتخذته بناء على مبادرة من غابون في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010 بعنوان " اليوم الدولي للأرامل " ، وذلك من أجل التوعية بضرورة حماية الأرامل وأطفالهن.
