وقد اتخذت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، في دورتها الاستثنائية الثالثة، القرار دإ ٣ -/١ المؤرخ ٢٥ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤، الذي طلبت بموجبه من رئيسها أن يعين مقررا خاصا للتحقيق في حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في رواندا.

The Commission requested its Chairman to appoint a Special Rapporteur to investigate the human rights situation in the former Yugoslavia, in particular within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
وطلبت اللجنة إلى رئيسها أن يعين مقررا خاصا للتحقيق في حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في يوغوسلافيا السابقة، لا سيما في البوسنة والهرسك.

And so the Commission decided, by resolution 1993/60 of 10 March 1993, that the situation of human rights in the Sudan should be examined under public procedures and requested its Chairman to appoint a Special Rapporteur to investigate the situation and to report his findings to the General Assembly at its forty-eighth session and to the Commission on Human Rights at its fiftieth session.
وهكذا، قررت اللجنة، بموجب القرار ٣٩٩١/٠٦ المؤرخ ٠١ آذار/مارس ٣٩٩١، أن تُدرس حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في السودان بموجب الاجراءات العلنية، وطلبت إلى رئيسها أن يعين مقررا خاصا لاستقصاء الحالة وتقديم تقرير عن استنتاجاته إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة واﻷربعين وإلى لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في دورتها الخمسين.

The present report is prepared in response to that request. It includes information relating to Commission on Human Rights resolution S-3/1 of 25 May 1994, in which the Commission requested its Chairman to appoint a Special Rapporteur charged with investigating the human rights situation in Rwanda.
وقد أعد هذا التقرير استجابة لهذا الطلب، ويشمل معلومات تتعلق بقرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان د إ ٣/١ المؤرخ ٢٥ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤، الذي طلبت فيه اللجنة من رئيسها أن يعين مقررا خاصا مكلفا بالتحقيق في حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في رواندا.

In its resolution S-3/1 of 25 May 1994, the Commission requested its Chairman to appoint a Special Rapporteur to investigate at first hand the human rights situation in Rwanda and to receive relevant, credible information on the human rights situation from Governments, individuals and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, including on the root causes and responsibilities for the recent atrocities.
