يحق لأي عضو في الجمعية العامة، غير ممثل في المكتب يكون قد طلب إدراج بند في جدول الأعمال، أن يحضر أية جلسة من جلسات المكتب يبحث فيها طلبه وأن يشترك في مناقشة ذلك البند دون التمتع بحق التصويت.

Pursuant to rule 43 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, I also request that my delegation be permitted to attend and participate in any meeting of the General Committee at which this request is discussed.
وألتمس أيضا عملا بالمادة 43 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة السماح لوفد بلدي حضور جميع جلسات المكتب التي تتم فيها مناقشة هذا الطلب والمشاركة فيها.

إذا لم يعترض أحد، هل أعتبر أن الجمعية العامة توافق على تعليق حكم المادة ٤٠ من النظام الداخلي التي تقضي بعقد اجتماع للمكتب بشأن مسألة إدراج هذا البند في جدول اﻷعمال؟ لا أرى اعتراضا.

وبالنظر إلى الطابع الهام والعاجل للبند، وما لم أسمع اعتراضا، هل لي أن أعتبر أن الجمعية العامة توافق على التغاضي عن الحكم ذي الصلة من المادة 40 من النظام الداخلي، الذي يقضي بانعقاد المكتب للنظر في مسألة إدراج هذا البند الإضافي في جدول الأعمال؟

If the President or a Vice-President is to be absent during a meeting of the General Committee, he/she may designate a member of his/her delegation to sit and vote in the Committee.
إذا حدث أن تغيب الرئيس أو أحد نوابه عن إحدى جلسات المكتب، فله أن يسمي أحد أعضاء وفده لحضور جلسة المكتب والتصويت فيها.

وتنص المادة 43 على ما يلي: يحق لأي عضو في الجمعية العامة، غير ممثل في المكتب يكون قد طلب إدراج بند في جدول الأعمال، أن يحضر أية جلسة من جلسات المكتب يبحث فيها طلبه وأن يشترك في مناقشة ذلك البند دون التمتع بحق التصويت.

١ - اذا تغيب الرئيس أو أحد نواب الرئيس أو المقرر العام عن جلسة من جلسات المكتب ، جاز له أن يسمي عضوا من وفده لكي يقوم مقامه .
