However, in view of the delays in the construction of an integrated headquarters facility for UNAMI in Baghdad, it recommended that the amount of $5 million already approved as a commitment authority should not be appropriated as yet but that any actual expenditures arising from the commitment authority should be reported in the context of the second performance report for the biennium 2010-2011.

20. With regard to the revised estimates relating to the proposed provision of an integrated headquarters facility for UNAMI, there had been a number of developments since the issuance of the Secretary-General's report (A/62/828), including a pledge of $25 million and the provision of a new site by the Government of Iraq.

20. In his report on revised estimates relating to the programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009 under sections 3 and 32 related to the provision of an integrated headquarters facility for UNAMI in Baghdad (A/62/828), the Secretary-General requested the General Assembly:

143. The Advisory Committee also notes that, in paragraphs 20 to 23 of his report (A/63/346/Add.5), the Secretary-General refers to the proposed provision of an integrated headquarters facility in Baghdad, including further developments since the issuance of his report (A/62/828).
