At successive sessions from 2008 to 2010, the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level has adopted resolutions affirming the inalienable right of Arab States to benefit from the peaceful uses of nuclear energy in accordance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The above-mentioned resolution was adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Ministers for Foreign Affairs at its one hundred eighteenth regular session, held from 3 to 5 September 2002 at the League of Arab States headquarters in Cairo.
وقد اتخذ القرار المذكور من جانب مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية في دورته العادية الثامنة عشرة بعد المائة، المعقودة في الفترة من 3 إلى 5 أيلول/سبتمبر 2002، بمقر جامعة الدول العربية في القاهرة.

At the eighteenth session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit level, that was held in Khartoum in 2006, the Arab States announced action at both the national and regional levels to develop programmes for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, with a view to achieving development in various spheres.
1 - أعلنت الدول العربية في بيان لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى القمة، في دورته الثامنة عشرة بالخرطوم، عام 2006، عن العمل على تطوير برامج للاستخدامات السلمية للطاقة النووية لتحقيق التنمية في مختلف المجالات، وأن يكون التحرك على المستويين الوطني والإقليمي.

3. Resolution No. 472, which was adopted in Doha on 30 March 2009 at the twenty-first session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit level, endorsed the Arab strategy for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy to 2020, which was drafted by the Arab Atomic Energy Agency in 2008.
3 - اعتمد مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى القمة في قراره رقم 472 في دورته الحادية والعشرين بالدوحة في 30 آذار/مارس 2009، الاستراتيجية العربية للاستخدامات السلمية للطاقة الذرية، التي أعدتها الهيئة العربية للطاقة الذرية في عام 2008، والتي تشمل المرحلة الممتدة لغاية عام 2020.

Accordingly, on 3 November 2013, the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level adopted a resolution in which it calls on the Group of Arab States at the United Nations to present a draft resolution to the Security Council regarding the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic.
لذلك أصدر مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري قرارا في 3 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013 بتكليف المجموعة العربية في الأمم المتحدة باتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لتقديم مشروع قرار لمجلس الأمن بشأن الحالة في الجمهورية العربية السورية.
