٤٩ - واستنادا الى مبدأ المسؤوليات المشتركة وإن كانت متباينة، أشار الفريق الى أن البلدان المتقدمة النمو منوطة بمسؤولية خاصة فيما يتصل بتيسير الظروف اللازم توافرها ﻷجل حفظ التنوع البيولوجي الحرجي واستعماله المستدام، مما يستدعي اتباع نهج بناء لنقل التكنولوجيات والموارد المالية.

21. The conservation of forest biological diversity is an integral component of sustainable forest management.
١٢ - وحفظ التنوع الاحيائي الحرجي هو جزء لا يتجزأ من اﻹدارة المستدامة للغابات.

Further assessments on forest management practices that incorporate socio-economic and cultural values are being carried out as part of a Convention report on the sustainable use of forest biological diversity.
