9. Take note of and express our appreciation for the offer made by the Government of the Republic of Madagascar to host the Sixth Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking African Countries;

The remaining instruments were in the process of ratification, as was the Convention on Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance in Counter-Terrorism adopted at the Fifth Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking African Countries.

In 2008, the Rabat Declaration was adopted at the Fifth Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking African Countries on the implementation of the international counter-terrorism instruments, which includes a Convention on Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance in counter-terrorism that has been signed by 17 Member States and ratified by 1 State so far.
وفي عام 2008، اعتُمد إعلان الرباط في المؤتمر الخامس لوزراء العدل في البلدان الأفريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية بشأن تنفيذ الصكوك الدولية لمكافحة الإرهاب، الذي يتضمن اتفاقية لتسليم المطلوبين وتبادل المساعدة القانونية في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب وقعت عليها 17 دولة عضوا وصدقت عليها دولة واحدة حتى الآن.

As a demonstration of that commitment, in May 2008 Morocco had hosted the Fifth Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking African Countries on the implementation of the international counter-terrorism instruments, which had finalized a draft convention on extradition and mutual legal assistance in matters related to counter-terrorism.
وذكر أن المغرب، إثباتا لهذا الالتزام، استضافت في أيار/مايو 2008 المؤتمر الخامس لوزراء العدل في البلدان الأفريقية الناطقة باللغة الفرنسية وهو المؤتمر الذي تناول تنفيذ صكوك مكافحة الإرهاب الدولية ووضع نص اتفاقية بشأن تسليم المجرمين وتقديم المساعدة القانونية في الأمور المتصلة بمكافحة الإرهاب.

In relation to the African Court of Justice, Mauritius hosted both the meeting of Experts/Judges and Permanent Representatives from 4 - 6 June 2003 and the First Ministerial Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the African Union from 7 - 8 June 2003 at the Grand Bay International Conference Centre.

He also affirmed Egypt's commitment to combat terrorism and recalled the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-Speaking Countries of Africa to promote the ratification of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime which had taken place in Cairo in 2003.
وأشار إلى التزام مصر بمكافحة ظاهرة الإرهاب مذكّرا بمؤتمر وزراء العدل في البلدان الأفريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية لتشجيع التصديق على اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود الوطنية وبروتوكولاتها الإضافية المعقود في القاهرة عام 2003.

وإذ نشارك في مؤتمر وزراء العدل في البلدان الأفريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية المعني بالتصديق على الصكوك الدولية لمكافحة الإرهاب وتنفيذها، الذي عقد في الفترة من 7 إلى 9 شباط/فبراير 2006 في شرم الشيخ في مصر؛

The Convention on Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance in Counter-Terrorism, adopted at the Fifth Conference of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking African Countries on the implementation of the international counter-terrorism instruments, could enhance cooperation among many States of the subregion.
ويُذكر في هذا الصدد، أن اتفاقية تسليم المطلوبين وتبادل المساعدة القانونية في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب المعتمدة في المؤتمر الخامس الذي عقده وزراء العدل في البلدان الأفريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية بشأن مسألة تنفيذ الصكوك الدولية لمكافحة الإرهاب يمكن أن تعزز التعاون فيما بين العديد من دول المنطقة دون الإقليمية.

Furthermore, UNODC participated in and supported meetings of regional networks, including the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries and the regional justice platform of the Indian Ocean Commission.

3. In the context of the meeting of Ministers of Justice of the MERCOSUR countries, together with Bolivia and Chile, extradition agreements in which terrorism is not considered a political offence were drafted for each of the States involved.
3 - وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنه جرى في إطار اجتماع وزراء العدل في السوق المشتركة لبلدان المخروط الجنوبي وبوليفيا وشيلي إعداد اتفاقات لتسليم المجرمين خاصة بكل بلد من هذه البلدان لا يُعتبر فيها الإرهاب جريمة سياسية.

At the regional level, Madagascar participated actively in the fourth and fifth Conferences of Ministers of Justice of the French-speaking Countries of Africa on the Implementation of the Universal AntiTerrorism Conventions, held, respectively, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in March 2007 and in Rabat, Morocco, in May 2008.
