5. In paragraph 15 of the resolution, the Security Council requested that, in consultation with appropriate regional organizations, I include in my first report recommendations for the establishment of a comprehensive regime to monitor the implementation of the prohibitions imposed by the resolution.

III. COMPREHENSIVE REGIME TO MONITOR THE IMPLEMENTATION of the prohibitions imposed BY SECURITY COUNCIL
ثالثا - النظــام الشامل لرصــد تنفيــذ أشكال الحظر المفروضة بموجب القرار ١١٦٠ )١٩٩٨(

“(d) to promulgate such guidelines as may be necessary to facilitate the implementation of the prohibitions imposed by this resolution;

" (a) to seek from all States information regarding the action taken by them concerning the effective implementation of the prohibitions imposed by this resolution;
" )أ( السعي إلى الحصول من جميع الدول على معلومات تتعلق باﻹجراءات التي تتخذها بشأن تنفيذ أشكال الحظر المفروضة بموجب هذا القرار على نحو فعال؛

" (b) to consider any information brought to its attention by any State concerning violations of the prohibitions imposed by this resolution and to recommend appropriate measures in response thereto;
" )ب( النظر في أي معلومات تعرضها عليها أي دولة بشأن انتهاكات أشكال الحظر المفروضة بموجب هذا القرار والتوصية باتخاذ تدابير ملائمة استجابة لها؛

2. As stated in my report of 5 August 1998 (S/1998/712), the overall resources pledged by organizations willing to participate in the monitoring of the prohibitions imposed by resolution 1160 (1998) did not allow for the establishment of a comprehensive monitoring regime as envisaged by that resolution.
٢ - وفقا لما ورد في تقريري المؤرخ ٥ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٨ )S/1998/712( لم تسمح الموارد الشاملة التي تعهدت بتقديمها المنظمات الراغبة في الاشتراك في رصد أشكال الحظر المفروضة بموجب القرار ١١٦٠ )١٩٩٨( بإنشاء نظام شامل للرصد على النحو المتوخى في ذلك القرار.

In paragraph 6 of its guidelines, the Committee, addressing the effective enforcing and monitoring of the prohibitions imposed by resolution 1160 (1998), decided to elaborate further its guidelines, if necessary, subject to recommendations to be submitted by the Secretary-General.
