وإذ تعترف بأهمية اﻷنشطة التي يضطلع بها ضمن إطار برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال الادارة العامة والمالية، لتعزيز فعالية الادارة العامة، ولا سيما في البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تجتاز اقتصاداتها مرحلة تحول،

It will be designed to analyse the role of public administration in today's changing environment, based on an analysis of the role of the public sector, as well as to review the activities of the United Nations programme in this field.
وسيتمثل الغرض في تحليل دور الادارة العامة في بيئة اليوم المتغيرة استنادا إلى تحليل دور القطاع العام، علاوة على استعراض أنشطة برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في هذا الميدان.

25. The principal objective of the United Nations programme in public administration and finance is to provide assistance to Governments of developing countries and countries with economies in transition.
٢٥ - والهدف الرئيسي لبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال اﻹدارة العامة والمالية العامة هو تقديم المساعدة الى حكومات البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال.

2. Focus of the United Nations programme in public

It might be useful to take the initiative to make the Group of Experts more effective at this juncture of the United Nations, when the operationalization of the activities of the United Nations programme in the field of public administration and development is more important.
وقد يكون من المفيد أن نتخذ مبادرة لجعل فريق الخبراء أكثر فعالية في هذا المنعطـف مـن عمـل اﻷمـم المتحدة، حيث أن تنفيذ أنشطة برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال اﻹدارة العامة أكثر أهمية.

2. In paragraph 13.2, reference should be made to resolutions 49/168 of 23 December 1994 and 50/148 of 21 December 1995, which are an essential part of the mandate of the United Nations programme in the area of international drug control.

١٤ - يشدد على أهمية إحراز تقدم في مجال إزالة اﻷلغام وما يتصل به من تدريب في موزامبيق، ويرحب باعتزام اﻷمين العام التعجيل بتنفيذ برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في هذا المجال ويعرب عن تقديره للبلدان التي قدمت مساعدة في هذا الصدد؛

٥١ - عُقد الاجتماع الثاني عشر لفريق الخبراء المعنيين باﻹدارة العامة والمالية العامة في نيويورك، في الفترة من ١٣ تموز/يوليه إلى ١١ آب/أغسطس ٥٩٩١ لكي يحلل ويبلغ عن الاتجاهات والتحديات الرئيسية في مجال اﻹدارة العامة في البلدان النامية، وليوصي بإجراءات لتعزيز دور برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال اﻹدارة العامة والمالية العامة.
