7- لأغراض هذه المادة والمادة 55 من هذه الاتفاقية، تخوِّل كل دولة طرف محاكمها أو سلطاتها المختصة الأخرى أن تأمر بإتاحة السجلات المصرفية أو المالية أو التجارية أو بحجزها.

6. For the purposes of this article and article 31, " Parties present and voting " means Parties present and casting an affirmative or negative vote.
٦- ﻷغراض هذه المادة والمادة ٣١، تعني عبارة " اﻷطراف الحاضرين والمصوتين " اﻷطراف الحاضرين الذين يدلون بأصواتهم سلبا أو إيجابا.

6. For the purposes of this article and article 31, " Parties present and voting " means Parties present and casting an affirmative or negative vote.
٦ - ﻷغراض هذه المادة والمادة ٣١، تعني عبارة " اﻷطراف الحاضرين والمصوتين " اﻷطراف الحاضرين الذين يدلون بأصواتهم سلبا أو إيجابا.

6. For the purposes of this article and article 7 of this Convention, each State party shall empower its courts or other competent authorities to order that bank, financial or commercial records be made available or seized.

[1. For the purpose of this article and article 4:

For the purposes of paragraph 1 of this article and article 9 of this Convention, " public official " shall mean a public official or a person who provides a public service as defined in the domestic law and as applied in the criminal law of the State Party in which the person in question performs that function.
4- لأغراض الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة والمادة 9 من هذه الاتفاقية، يقصد بتعبير " الموظف العمومي " أي موظف عمومي أو شخص يقدم خدمة عمومية، حسب تعريفها في القانون الداخلي وحسبما تطبق في القانون الجنائي للدولة الطرف التي يقوم الشخص المعني بأداء تلك الوظيفة فيها.

4. The provisions of this article and article 11 immediately preceding it shall not be in conflict with the freedom of the Muslim child to joint private educational institutions, provided that such institutions respect the provisions of the Islamic Shari`a and that the education given in such institutions observe the rules laid down by the State.
4 - لا تتعارض أحكام هذه المادة والمادة الحادية عشرة السابقة لها، مع حرية انتساب الطفل المسلم للمؤسسات التعليمية الخاصة شريطة احترامها لأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية، ومراعاة التعليم في تلك المؤسسات للقواعد التي تضعها الدول.

While there was general approval in the Working Group for the text of draft paragraph 3 as it appeared in A/CN.9/WG.III/WP.81, a question was raised regarding whether the opening phrase of the paragraph, " For the purposes of paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article [and article 44] " , was necessary.

7- لأغراض هذه المادة والمادة [...] [التعاون الدولي لأغراض المصادرة] من هذه الاتفاقية، تخوِّل كل دولة طرف محاكمها أو سلطاتها المختصة الأخرى أن تأمر بإتاحة السجلات المصرفية أو المالية أو التجارية أو بحجزها.

3. For the purposes of this article and article 7 bis, each State Party shall empower its courts or other competent authorities to order that bank, financial or commercial records be made available or be seized. A State Party shall not decline to act under the provisions of this paragraph on the ground of bank secrecy.
٣ - ﻷغراض هذه المادة والمادة ٧ مكررا ، تخّول كل دولة طرف محاكمها أو سلطاتها المختصة اﻷخرى أن تأمر بتقديم السجلات المصرفية أو المالية أو التجارية أو بالتحفظ عليها ، ولا يجوز للدولة الطرف أن ترفض العمل بأحكام هذه الفقرة بحجة سرية العمليات المصرفية .
