In paragraph 11, the Assembly called upon the Secretary-General to continue his efforts towards updating the Repertory and the Repertoire and making them available electronically in all their respective language versions and to continue to address, in particular, the backlog in the preparation of volume III of the Repertory.

52. With respect to the Repertory, it was pointed out that the French and Spanish versions of volume III of Supplement No. 6 and the French version of volume V of Supplement No. 7 had been issued since the last briefing in October 2006.

65. Her delegation welcomed the progress on the Repertory and Repertoire, but deeply regretted the unjustified backlog in the publication of volume III of the Repertory.
65 - واختتمت بالإعراب عن الترحيب بالتقدُّم المحرز بشأن مرجعيْ الممارسات وإنْ أعربت أيضاً عن الأسف العميق إزاء تأخر إنجاز الأعمال المتراكمة بغير مبرِّر في نشر المجلد الثالث لمرجع الممارسات.

69. Following the briefings, concern was expressed regarding the remaining backlog in the preparation of volume III of the Repertory and a question was asked regarding the utilization of the assistance of academic institutions in its preparation.
69 - وعلى إثر الإحاطات، أُعرب عن القلق إزاء الأعمال المتراكمة المتبقية فيما يتعلق بإعداد المجلد الثالث من مرجع ممارسات هيئات الأمم المتحدة، وأثير سؤال عن مدى الاستفادة من مساعدة المؤسسات الأكاديمية في إعداده.

It was also helping to address the backlog in the preparation of volume III of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs; it had submitted all outstanding studies on Articles of the Charter for the period from 1985 to 1999 and was in the process of preparing those for the period from 2000 to 2009.

The Movement called upon the Secretary-General to address the problem effectively and on a priority basis.

(e) The Personal Status Act No. 51 of 1984. This Act, which was promulgated on 7 July 1984, contains provisions relating to the protection of children. For example, nursing, custody, maintenance and guardianship are regulated, respectively, in sections 4, 5 and 6 of volume III in such a way as to guarantee the care and upbringing of children.
