In this effort to find and define indicators on the situation of persons with disabilities, pursuant to the conclusions and recommendations set forth in the report of the Secretary-General on Realizing the Millennium Development Goals for persons with disabilities (A/64/180) and General Assembly resolutions 62/127 and 63/150, Argentina has developed a preliminary version using the available national data, as follows:

All Millennium Development Goals targets and indicators should identify, monitor and evaluate the impact of related policies and programming on the situation of persons, including children, with disabilities.
وينبغي لجميع غايات ومؤشرات الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية أن تحدد أثر السياسات والبرامج ذات الصلة، المعنية بحالة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، بمن فيهم الأطفال، وأن ترصده وتقيمه.

71. The Committee notes that there is no disaggregated data on the situation of persons with disabilities in the State party.

The lack of available data on the situation of persons with disabilities is noted as a major challenge in this endeavour.
