4. The Council will ensure the effective operation of the GEF, as an entity entrusted with the operations of the financial mechanism under the Convention, as a source of funding activities for the purposes of the Convention in conformity with the guidance provided to it by the Conference of the Parties.
4 - يكفل المجلس فعالية تشغيل مرفق البيئة العالمية، بوصفه الكيان المنوط به عمليات الآلية المالية في إطار الاتفاقية، كمصدر تمويل للأنشطة المقامة لأغراض الاتفاقية بما يتوافق مع التوجيهات المقدمة إليه من مؤتمر الأطراف.

Further requests the Secretariat to transmit the guidance to the financial mechanism contained in the annex to the present decision to the Global Environment Facility, which is, on an interim basis, the principal entity entrusted with the operations of the financial mechanism in accordance with Article 14 of the Convention;
3 - يطلب كذلك إلى الأمانة إحالة الإرشادات المتعلقة بالآلية المالية والواردة بمرفق هذا المقرر إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية باعتباره الكيان الرئيسي الموكل إليه مؤقتاً تنفيذ عمليات الآلية المالية عملاً بالفقرة 14 من الاتفاقية.

4. The Council will ensure the effective operation of GEF, as an entity entrusted on an interim basis with the operations of the financial mechanism under the Convention, as a source of funding activities for the purposes of the Convention in conformity with the guidance provided to it by the Conference of the Parties.
4 - يكفل المجلس فعالية تشغيل مرفق البيئة العالمية، بوصفه الكيان المنوط به، مؤقتاً، تنفيذ عمليات الآلية المالية في إطار الاتفاقية، كمصدر تمويل للأنشطة المقامة لأغراض الاتفاقية بما يتوافق مع التوجيهات المقدمة إليه من مؤتمر الأطراف.

The information provided in response to the invitation referred to in paragraph 3 above, by two Parties and the Global Environment Facility, as the principal entity entrusted with the operations of the financial mechanism on an interim basis.

3 - يطلب إلى الأمانة إحالة الإرشادات المتعلقة بالآلية المالية والواردة بتذييل المقرر الحالي إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية باعتباره الكيان الرئيسي الموكل إليه تشغيل الآلية المالية عملاً بالفقرة 14 من الاتفاقية.

The annex to the decision provides that, in accordance with paragraphs 6 and 7 (d) of Article 13 of the Stockholm Convention, the Conference of the Parties will regularly provide the entity or entities entrusted with the operations of the financial mechanism assessments of the funding needed to ensure effective implementation of the Convention.
وينص مرفق المقرر على أنه، وفقاً للفقرتين 6 و7 (د) من المادة 13 من اتفاقية استكهولم فإن مؤتمر الأطراف سيقوم بصفة منتظمة بموافاة الكيان أو الكيانات الموكل إليها تشغيل الآلية المالية بتقديرات للتمويل اللازم لضمان التنفيذ الفعال للاتفاقية.

The guidance provides that, in accordance with paragraph 7 (d) of Article 13 of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties will regularly provide the entity or entities entrusted with the operations of the financial mechanism pursuant to paragraph 6 of Article 13 with assessments of the funding needed to ensure the effective implementation of the Convention.
