Regarding modernization of the voting and balloting system in the Assembly, many speakers urged necessary caution with regard to the confidentiality and the integrity of the voting process, since the various proposals made on the use of optical scanners have not yet convinced the entire membership that the confidentiality of the vote would be enhanced, or at least preserved.
