Article 332 criminalizes the abuse of official authority by public officials who act to the detriment of the public interest for the purpose of deriving profit or advantage.
وتجرّم المادة 332 إساءة استغلال الموظف العمومي للسلطة الرسمية من خلال فعل يلحق ضررا بالمصلحة العامة لغرض تحقيق ربح أو مزية.

(b) The promising, offering or granting, directly or indirectly, to a public official or a person who performs public functions, of any article of monetary value or other undue benefit, such as a gift, favour or advantage for himself or herself or for another person or entity, in exchange for any act or omission in the performance of his or her public functions.
(ب) وعد موظف عمومي أو شخص يؤدي وظائف عمومية بأي شيء ذي قيمة نقدية أو منفعة أخرى غير مستحقة، مثل هدية أو فضل أو مزية، أو عرضها عليه أو منحه إياها، بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر، سواء لصالحه أو لصالح شخص آخر أو كيان آخر، مقابل قيامه أو امتناعه عن القيام بفعل ما لدى أدائه وظائفه العمومية.
