At its sixty-sixth session, the General Assembly took note with appreciation of the reports on progress made towards achieving the commitments set out in the outcome document of the twenty-seventh special session of the General Assembly on children (resolution 66/141).
وفي الدورة السادسة والستين، أحاطت علما مع التقدير بالتقريرين المتعلقين بالتقدم المحرز في الوفاء بالالتزامات المبينة في الوثيقة الختامية للدورة الاستثنائية السابعة والعشرين للجمعية العامة (القرار 66/141).

As the outcome document of the twenty-seventh special session of the General Assembly entitled, " A world fit for children " , reminds us, children are " resourceful citizens capable of helping to build a better future for all " (resolution S-27/2, annex, para. 7).

His Government supported stronger international cooperation in the promotion and protection of the rights of children, particularly in the context of the ongoing global financial crisis, taking guidance primarily from the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the goals stated in the outcome document of the twenty-seventh special session of the General Assembly on children, entitled " A World Fit for Children " .
