The CHAIRMAN said that, if he heard no objection, he would take it that the Committee wished to approve the draft resolutions covering the programme of work of the Committee, the Division for Palestinian Rights and the Department of Public Information, the last resolution incorporating the amendment proposed by the representative of Malta.
٤ - الرئيس: قال إنه في حالة عدم وجود اعتراضات، فسيعتبر أن اللجنة ترغب في اعتماد مشاريع القرارات المتعلقة بأعمال اللجنة وشعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين وإدارة شؤون اﻹعلام، مع التعديل الذي اقترحت مالطة إدخاله على القرار اﻷخير.

The Committee considers that, along with the Division for Palestinian Rights and the Department of Public Information, each in its own domain, it will continue to provide the necessary support for the United Nations in the exercise of its responsibility with regard to this question, until the peace process finally reaches its conclusion.
وترى اللجنة أن بوسعها أن تقوم جنبا إلى جنب مع شعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين وإدارة شـؤون اﻹعلام - كل في مجال اختصاصها - بمواصلة تقديم الدعم اللازم لﻷمم المتحدة في ممارستها لمسؤوليتها فيما يتعلق بهذه القضية، إلى أن تكتمل عملية السلام في نهاية المطاف.

On the same day, the General Assembly had concluded its debate on the question of Palestine and the situation in the Middle East and adopted the resolutions submitted by the Committee renewing the mandates of the Committee, the Division for Palestinian Rights and the Department of Public Information, as well as the main political resolution on the peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine.
وفي اليوم نفسه اختتمت الجمعية العامة مناقشاتها بشأن مسألة فلسطين والوضع في الشرق الأوسط واعتمَدت القرارات التي قدّمتها اللجنة والتي تجدِّد ولايات اللجنة وشعبة الحقوق الفلسطينية وإدارة الإعلام، وكذلك القرار السياسي الرئيسي المتعلّق بتحقيق تسوية سلمية لقضية فلسطين.
