5. The right to seek pardon or commutation

ويجوز منح العفو العام أو العفو الخاص أو إبدال عقوبة الإعدام في جميع الحالات.

Article 6, paragraph 4, gives every person sentenced to death the right to seek pardon or commutation of the sentence.
فالفقرة 4 من المادة 6 تعطي لكل شخص محكوم عليه بالإعدام الحق في التماس العفو الخاص أو تخفيف الحكم المحكوم به عليه.
