Requests the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to undertake research and consultations on the use of the Internet for purposes of incitement to racial hatred, racist propaganda and xenophobia, to study ways of promoting international cooperation in this area, and to draw up a programme of human rights education and exchanges over the Internet on experience in the struggle against racism, xenophobia and anti-Semitism;

1. The Government of the Republic of Cuba attaches the utmost importance to the central role that the international community, through the United Nations system, has to play in protecting and promoting the various cultures in the world and in promoting international cooperation in this field, based on the principle of full respect for diversity.
1 - تولي حكومة جمهورية كوبا أهمية قصوى للدور المركزي الذي يلعبه المجتمع الدولي من خلال منظومة الأمم المتحدة في حماية الثقافات المختلفة وتعزيزها وفي تعزيز التعاون الدولي في هذا المجال، من منطلق الاحترام الكامل للتنوع.

In its resolution 1999/78, the Commission on Human Rights requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to, inter alia, undertake research and consultations on the use of the Internet for purposes of incitement to racial hatred, racist propaganda and xenophobia, and to study ways of promoting international cooperation in this area.
1- رجت لجنة حقوق الإنسان في قرارها 1999/78 من مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تقوم بجملة أمور منها الاضطلاع ببحوث ومشاورات بشأن استخدام شبكة الإنترنت لأغراض التحريض على الكراهية العنصرية، والدعاية العنصرية، وكره الأجانب، ودراسة سبل تعزيز التعاون الدولي في هذا المجال.
