(c) A resolution on trafficking in women and girls8 reaffirmed the principles set forth in the Convention, among other international human rights instruments; welcomed the adoption of the Optional Protocol to the Convention; and urged Governments to consider signing and ratifying the mentioned international human rights instruments.
