4. I propose that the Security Council urge armed groups to commit themselves to the child protection standards embodied in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol and in international humanitarian law regarding the rights and protection of children in times of armed conflict, and to accept and cooperate in the monitoring of adherence to those standards.
4 - وأقترح على مجلس الأمن أن يحث الجماعات المسلحة على الالتزام بمعايير حماية الطفل الواردة في اتفاقية حقوق الطفل وبروتوكولها الاختياري وفي القانون الدولي الإنساني فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في أوقات الصراع المسلح؛ وبقبول وتيسير رصد الالتزام بهذه المعايير والتعاون في هذا المجال.

8. Calls upon States to respect fully the relevant provisions of applicable international humanitarian law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict, in particular the four Geneva Conventions of 1949, inter alia, the Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War;
8 - يهيب بالدول أن تتقيد تقيدا تاما بأحكام القانون الإنساني الدولي ذات الصلة بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم أثناء الصراعات المسلحة، ولا سيما اتفاقيات جنيف الأربع لعام 1949، ومنها على وجه الخصوص، الاتفاقية المتعلقة بحماية المدنيين وقت الحرب؛

21. Ensure that issues pertaining to the rights and protection of children are fully reflected in the agendas of peacemaking processes and in ensuing peace agreements, and are incorporated, as appropriate, into United Nations peacekeeping operations and peace-building programmes; and involve children, where possible, in these processes.
21 - كفالة إدراج القضايا الوثيقة الصلة بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في خطط عمليات صنع السلام وما يعقبها من اتفاقات للسلام، وإدماجها، حسب الاقتضاء، في عمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام وبرامج بناء السلام؛ وإشراك الأطفال، كلما أمكن، في تلك العمليات.

132. All personnel in peacemaking, peacekeeping and peace-building need training on the rights and protection of children, as stipulated in Security Council resolutions.
132 - يحتاج جميع الأفراد العاملين في صنع السلام وحفظ السلام وبناء السلام تدريبا على حقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم على النحو المنصوص عليه في قرارات مجلس الأمن.
