2. ٢ - يعرب عن اعتزامه النظر بروح إيجابية في الطلب المتعلق باﻷصول اﻹضافية المتبقية العسكرية والمتعلقة بالشرطة المدنية من أجل بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة للاستفتاء في الصحراء الغربية، حسب الاقتراح الوارد في المرفق الثاني من تقرير اﻷمين العام المؤرخ ١٣ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٧، بمجرد أن يفيد اﻷمين العام بأن عملية تحديد الهوية قد وصلت إلى مرحلة تستوجب نشر تلك اﻷصول؛

33. Decides that the mandate of UNPROFOR shall terminate on the date on which the Secretary-General reports to the Council that the transfer of authority from UNPROFOR to IFOR has taken place;
٣٣ - يقرر إنهاء ولاية قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية في الموعد الذي يقدم فيه اﻷمين العام تقريرا إلى المجلس يفيد بإتمام نقل السلطة من قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية إلى قوة التنفيذ المتعددة الجنسيات؛

٦ - يعرب مرة أخرى عن اعتزامه النظربصورة إيجابية في طلب تزويد البعثة بالعناصر العسكرية والشرطية اﻹضافية المتبقية، على النحو المقترح في المرفق الثاني لتقرير اﻷمين العام المؤرخ ١٣ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٧، حالما يقدم اﻷمين العام تقريرا يفيد بأن عملية تحديد الهوية قد بلغت مرحلة تستلزم نشر هذه العناصر؛

6. Requests the Secretary-General to take planning steps which would enable, upon a further decision by the Council, prompt deployment of additional personnel within the originally authorized strength of UNOMIG if the Secretary-General reports that the situation on the ground and in the peace process warrants it;
٦ - يطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ خطوات تخطيطية من شأنها، بناء على قرار جديد من المجلس، أن تمكن من إجراء وزع عاجل ﻷفراد اضافيين في إطار قوة البعثة المأذون بها أصلا، إذا ما قدم اﻷمين العام تقريرا يفيد بأن الحالة على اﻷرض وفي عملية السلم تبرر ذلك؛

" 6. In keeping with General Assembly resolution 2029 (XX) of 22 November 1965 and in response to Governing Council decision 79/22 of 28 June 1979 and General Assembly resolution 37/232 of 20 December 1982, the Secretary-General reports annually on the technical cooperation activities of the United Nations.
