A message from Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, was read out on his behalf by Mr. Fahmi Al Jowder, Minister of Works and Housing of Bahrain.
وتلا السيد فهمي الجودر وزير الأشغال والإسكان في البحرين، رسالة نيابة عن الشيخ خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة، رئيس وزراء البحرين.

He read out a message on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, in which the Prime Minister expressed appreciation to UNHabitat for awarding him the 2006 Special Citation of the Habitat Scroll of Honour Award.
وقرأ رسالة بالنيابة عن معالي الشيخ خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة رئيس وزراء البحرين، أعرب فيها الشيخ خليفة عن تقديره لموئل الأمم المتحدة لمنحه البراءة الخاصة لجائزة شهادة الموئل الشرفية لعام 2006.

In 2011, the Ministry of Social Affairs adopted measures to implement the decisions of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, to increase social assistance by 20 per cent for the nine groups that receive subsidies from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
وفي هذا السياق قامت وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية عام 2011 باتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لتنفيذ قرارات صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله بزيادة قيمة المساعدات الاجتماعية بنسبة 20 في المائة لبعض الفئات الذين يحصلون على إعانات من وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية تشمل 9 فئات.

The State constantly reviews social security to ensure that it meets quality-of-life requirements based on citizens' economic conditions. The aforesaid increase is the third granted to persons eligible for social assistance since His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, assumed office.
وعلما أن الدولة تعمل وبشكل مستمر على مراجعة الضمان الاجتماعي للتأكد من ملائمته لمتطلبات جودة الحياة وفق الظروف الاقتصادية التي يعيشها المواطنون؛ حيث تعتبر هذه الزيادة الثالثة التي تمنح لمستحقي المساعدات الاجتماعية منذ تسلم صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة حفظه الله مقاليد الحكم.

It assists in identifying partners to participate in awards such as the UNHabitat Scroll of Honour, Dubai Best Practices in Improving the Living Environment and the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Habitat Award, in addition to those who could contribute to the Opportunities Fund for Urban Youth-Led Development.
وتُساعد قاعدة البيانات في التعرف على الشركاء للمشاركة في جوائز مثل لوحة شرف موئل الأمم المتحدة، جائزة دبي لأفضل الممارسات في تحسين بيئة العيش وجائزة موئل الشيخ خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة، بالإضافة إلى أولئك الذين بإمكانهم الإسهام في صندوق فرص التنمية الحضرية التي يقودها الشباب.
