As I extend sincere congratulations to President al-Asad and wish him success in steering serious and productive Arab action, it is my pleasure to extend great appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who presided over the last summit with his customary zeal for his Arab identity and devotion to his faith, for his formidable support for the role of the Arab League.
