وكان مخزن البضائع في طائرة بوينغ 747 الثانية (رقم تسجيلها YI-ALM) يحتوي على عدة صناديق صغيرة من قطع الغيار تم التعرف عليها بوصفها قطع مملوكة لشركة الخطوط الجوية الكويتية.
